I don’t know much about this guy, other than he seems to be some sort of genius. This site of his has a lot of weird cool experiments and projects that you can play with. A few I liked:
Good times: Paul Thomas Anderson’s religious cult flick (often referred to as The master, though officially untitled as of now) is a go. Philip Seymour Hoffman has been cast to play a man who starts his own religion in the 50’s, while Joaquin Phoenix plays a drifter with a penchant for the bottle who gets involved in the church / cult / organisation.

Theo recommends that you procure the ‘Cooper Tapes‘ in full and listen to them while travelling on public transport. You’ll exhibit the smug expression of someone who is enjoying himself more than those around him. For now, peruse them here on Thuxtable… (more…)

I’m pretty embarrassed that I ever looked forward to this film, but there was a moment when the trailer first launched and this really looked promising. In an effort to unravel this cinematic disappointment, here’s looking back at the blight that was Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes. It even includes a graph.
*Please note, this is not a paid advertisement and there is no affiliation between Thuxtable and the Jone's franchise. This is a simple endorsement for a couple of products and services that we have found thoroughly good value.
Boston Big Picture is worth bookmarking and checking out regularly. It’s a blog by Alan Taylor offering various galleries of photos to a different theme, like this one about the volcano in Iceland with the unpronounceable name. Or click through here for a quick taste.

Is it ok to enjoy an ad if it’s well made? It feels wrong and Theo doesn’t like to encourage it, but TV Land would be a different place if it were run by the Lynch’s and Jonze’s of the world.
David Lynch encourages you to smoke
Harmony Korine does some selling too I actually think he should stick with advertising, his nonsensical experimental anti-Hollywood-for-the-sake-of-it style is quite enjoyable in one minute or two minute bursts.
One of Theo’s favourite ads by Johnathon Glazer (like Spike Jonze, Johnathon Glazer was better known for advertising and music videos before their forays into feature films)
